MY BOOKS:
ABOUT ME :
The stories that my grandfather told me about World War II intrigued me and stimulated my curiosity and imagination; I wanted to better understand these stories that were part of my own narrative and part of my family's identity.
Thus, my fascination with history began: mainly conflicts between nations over territorial issues, migrations, expulsions of peoples that generated great populations of stateless persons and refugees, in addition to other oppressions and violences, especially violence against women.
I ended up directing this interest to the line of research of minorities, specifically in the area of Human Rights. I always felt angered by the reports of suffering of the most vulnerable, specially in war zones.
I devoured many books on the Holocaust. There is a need inside me to find meaning for this historical trauma, all the more because I know how it has affected the lives not only of my family but also many others.
Writing for me is a type of activism that represents my opposition and revolt against everything I believe to be intolerable in the world: injustice, inequality and suffering. I rebel and protest against the world in my writing.
I have discovered throughout my life that my mission is to transmit my knowledge and study in order to try to reduce the injustices that I observe in the world.
